Rebel rouses Telford business leaders
More than 60 business leaders in Telford were impressed and inspired by the passion of a guest speaker with a rebellious reputation.

Geoff Burch is known as the “Hell’s Angel” of management consultancy, and he brought his enthusiastic and quirky opinions to the latest Telford Business Partnership breakfast event.
Held at the University of Wolverhampton, Priorslee Campus, the meeting was certainly a wake-up call for the audience.
TBP chairman, Robin Melley, said: “We knew that Geoff was an internationally-renowned business commentator and we also know that he had a reputation for delivering presentations that make people take notice.
“But even with that prior knowledge, nothing could quite have prepared us for the speech Geoff gave to our members!
“His outlook was truly refreshing and he took key business messages and facts and turned them into hilarious stories that everyone will remember.
“We all came away from the meeting with fresh inspiration and feeling that we really had been through a true experience, rather than the more traditional breakfast meeting approach.”
Robin said TBP had been particularly pleased to see several new businesses at the event who attended as guests.
“We’re always very happy to welcome new faces to our organisation and what an event they chose for their first visit – we hope Geoff’s appearance has given them a taste of the kind of business group we are and how we like to stand out from the crowd, and we’d be delighted if they decide to join us on a more formal basis.”
Geoff Burch has worked extensively with the world’s major blue chip and FTSE 500 companies to inspire and motivate their people, and was named as Business Communicator of the Year 2011 by the UK Speechwriter’s Guild.
He’s a regular contributor and presenter on television and radio, and is the star of BBC Television’s hit business show, “All Over The Shop”.
Telford Business Partnership (TBP) is a growing network of business and professional services companies who promote the diversity and quality of their services to local firms and those relocating to the area.
