Office expansion adds up to success for Shrewsbury accountants
A local accountant is celebrating moving to larger premises after a successful period of rapid growth and expansion.

Shrewsbury-based DJH Accountants has relocated from its previous home at the Rural Enterprise Centre in Battlefield to a larger dedicated office in Knights Court, Archers Way. The move marks a hugely successful spell for the firm, which launched its dedicated Shropshire office just over two years ago, a period which has seen the branch secure more than 100 new clients both regionally and nationally, in sectors as diverse as construction, manufacturing, healthcare, and retail.
Paul Hulme, Director at DJH Accountants, said: “It has been a fantastic couple of years for us since opening our second office in Shrewsbury, and the string of recent contract wins at the branch has enabled us to expand into a larger, dedicated office. These bigger premises also pave the way for further expansion as the business continues to grow in the future.”
The expanded Shrewsbury office will be overseen by long-standing Directors Matt Jordan and Gary Chadwick, who have worked at DJH Accountants since 1996 and 1992 respectively, and bring a wealth of experience in the accountancy industry.
The recent Shrewsbury success is in addition to the firm’s long-standing office in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, where its team provides a wide range of services, including accountancy, audit, tax advice, business consultancy and wealth management, to businesses across the Midlands and beyond.
“This ongoing success can be attributed to the excellent, tailored service we provide our clients. Our ethos is about going above and beyond simply helping businesses file year end accounts or comply with legislation. We work alongside them as an extension of their team, really understand their business objectives, and provide regular advice throughout the year to help make a tangible difference. That’s why more and more clients are not only coming on board, but choosing to work with us in the long-term,” Paul concluded.
