Telford-based RMP Group reveal plans to expand to international CCTV
A Shropshire security firm has ambitious plans to move into monitoring closed circuit cameras across the world after opening its £50,000 CCTV suite.

Bosses at RMP Specialist Services, part of the RMP Group, say new technology installed in the state-of-the-art facility on Stafford Park will mean they can potential widen the regions its staff monitor to cover countries thousands of miles away.
Jon Hill, managing director of the security company, said he was also hoping to expand the business to escorting extra wide loads throughout the Midlands road network.
Mr Hill, who took over the Stafford Park-based company in 2011, said: "The last 12 months has been record breaking for the RMP group and we want to continue that success.
“These are exciting times for the company and it is vital we take every opportunity to increase trade and become the best in the business in 2013.
"We have been able to invest in new premises as well as in new staff. We have seen a number of areas where we could potentially expand, including ensuring extra wide loads travel safely through the region.
"We also want to make the most of our CCTV suite and it is amazing to think we could be monitoring cameras in places thousands of miles from Telford."
There are also developments with other areas of the RMP Group with RMP Events now qualified in supervising road closures and signage.
The medical branch of the Events arm of the business has also been launched with an ambulance bought and posts created to provide first aid cover.
Thousands of pounds have also been invested in buying new marquees for events.
Trevor Bate, of RMP Events, said: “The huge number of people asking for medical services is what inspired the company to invest in the new branch.
“The ambulance is fully kitted out and can be taken to any event. We are fully insured and we have got 20 first aiders fully trained to the appropriate standard.”
