Shropshire business consultant gets government recognition
A local business consultant has been officially recognised as a coach for a new multi-million pound government scheme, which provides businesses with expert support and guidance.

Shropshire-based Alan Adams who is Director of Horizons Consultants has been accepted onto the GrowthAccelerator programme as an approved coach, and will be working with businesses across the county to help them develop and grow.
The GrowthAccelerator programme is a £200 million government scheme, designed to help over 26,000 businesses around the UK ensure growth and sustainability through the provision of a long-term strategy. The programme promises to provide businesses with assistance on raising finance, commercial innovation, and the development of leadership skills.
Alan Adams said: “I am delighted to have been appointed as an official coach for the GrowthAccelerator programme, a scheme which is providing so many owners and managers of small to medium enterprises with the opportunity to unleash their full potential and help their businesses thrive.
“There are some incredible businesses and business owners across Shropshire, and the county really is packed with fantastic ideas and a real sense of entrepreneurialism,” Alan explained. “But while the actual ideas, products, and services often come naturally, many business owners are unsure how to develop and grow their businesses in a sustainable way. The GrowthAccelerator programme offers business owners the right advice and guidance to achieve their ambitions and unlock their potential.”
“I would encourage anyone interested in finding out more about the GrowthAccelerator programme and ways in which it can help their business to visit www.growthaccelerator.com, or alternatively call me on 0845 373 0046,” Alan concluded.
Businesses with less than 250 employees and an annual turnover of less than £40 million a year can access funding for the business coaching scheme, and receive expertise and support from highly trained coaches to help businesses double in the next three years.
