A Shropshire security provider is offering a helping hand to local business owners by outlining some of the fundamental questions they should ask a prospective security provider.

Shropshire security expert launches free guide

With security such a crucial issue to bear in mind for firms, but with so many companies on the market offering similar support and services, Shrewsbury-based Taybar Ltd has put together an easy-to-understand guide revealing the ‘Ten Questions To Ask Your Security Provider’ to help shed some light on the matter.

“Every business’s security needs are different, and many business owners are not quite sure what services they require, or what to look for from those offering them. It’s crucial they ask any prospective provider a number of all important questions so they can get an insight into the way they operate, their skills, experience, and how they will help protect their company,” Steve Taylor, Managing Director of Taybar Ltd, commented.

The guide, which is available to download for free from the firm’s www.taybar.co.uk website, recommends entrepreneurs enquire about any industry accreditations a provider may have, whether their officers and guards meet mandatory Security Industry Authority licensing rules, what other training security staff undertake, and how an alarm or incident at their premises will be dealt with.

“Security is such an important issue, and it’s essential that business owners know that the provider they are putting their trust – and money – into really can deliver the best service for them. A reputable provider won’t be afraid of answering any of the questions included in the guide, or any further queries you may have for that matter, and this should give you the insight required to make an informed choice.” Steve concluded.
