New appointment at XPO IT Services
A new face has joined the team as part of continued expansion at XPO IT Services of Telford.
Local man Zubin Peckham, aged 29, joins the specialist IT recycling company as business development executive, bringing with him a wealth of experience in confidential data and document destruction.
XPO IT Services managing director Steve Urbicki commented: “We are delighted to welcomed Zubin to the company and look forward to him helping us to promote our services as we move forward to cater for an ever increasing demand from customers for secure destruction of their data, as this is a growth area of our business.
“With the increased use of confidential data in all aspects of business and personal life, companies and individuals must take responsibility and ensure that any unwanted data, whether that be hard drives, back-up tapes or information storage devices, are permanently disposed of in a safe and secure manner.
“The legal onus is totally on businesses or people themselves and several recent -well publicised - court cases brought about by the national Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) against companies and organisations such as Police and hospitals, for loss or theft of data have resulted in prosecutions and very heavy fines.”
