Elaine joins husband in Salop Leisure's sales team
Shropshire-based caravan dealership has a new husband and wife team in its ranks following the appointment of sales executive Elaine Edwards.
She has swapped 12 years on the road selling medical supplies to join her husband, Stuart, in the successful touring sales team at Salop Leisure at Emstrey, Shrewsbury.
“I have absolutely no regrets because I love my new job,” said Elaine, 46, who lives in Four Crosses. “I didn’t want to continue being on the road travelling all over the country because it was a stressful job, whereas Stuart has always been so happy working for Salop Leisure.
“It’s a great company to work for and I like the fact that it’s really family orientated with traditional values. Customers are treated with the utmost respect and that is brilliant.”
Elaine is enjoying the friendly rivalry with her husband over sales and meeting the company’s new and existing customers, who range from young families to retired couples.
Salop Leisure has several married couples working for the company as well as children and grandchildren, which is part of the tradition established over the past 48 years.
