Health and Safety in the spotlight

A Shropshire insurance broker is spreading the health and safety message far and wide thanks to a new initiative.

Health and Safety in the spotlight

Henshalls, in Newport and Shrewsbury, is believed to be the only broker in the local small and medium-sized business market to have its own in-house consultancy.

And now, as part of a programme of corporate rebranding, the health and safety team has a whole new host of marketing material to help spread the word about their services.

Tony Conlon, who created the team, said: “We have worked hard to develop and expand the health and safety side of our business, and our efforts are really paying off with a strong client base now in place.

“Thanks to our new promotional literature, we can now share our expertise with an even wider audience, and continue to raise the company’s profile across Shropshire and beyond.”

The health and safety team is led by Steve Davies and it gives regular expert advice to over 50 clients. Steve has many years of experience in the industry and has achieved one of the top qualifications from the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

He will now be using the new marketing leaflets to promote the health and safety advice the team can offer, as part of an ambitious plan to build on the excellent start that has already been made.

The new-look health and safety literature is part of a company-wide rebrand that has seen new leaflets, advertisements, signage and a new website introduced. And the firm has also embraced social media to interact more readily with customers, with Twitter and Facebook proving to be excellent communication tools for the company.

The management team decided to update the Henshalls corporate image as the previous one had been in use for quite some time, and they felt the time was right for a change to a more modern, dynamic style.
