A local firm of estate agents has welcomed the latest figures released by a leading property website which shows that it is top of the charts when it comes to finding buyers their perfect homes.

Shropshire Estate Agents top of the chart

Shropshire-based Nock Deighton is celebrating the results published by Zoopla, which reveal that of all sales in Telford over the past twelve months by agents listed on the site, the firm accounted for almost half of these.

According to the statistics, Nock Deighton significantly surpassed other agents’ sales between March 2012 and March 2013 for properties worth £200,000 to £875,000 in some of the prime commuter areas of the town, including Priorslee and Muxton, equating to 40.9% of all properties sold or sold subject-to-contract.

Michael Nettleton, Director of Nock Deighton, explained: “We are thrilled with the latest results from Zoopla, which are testament to the fantastic work of our Telford team in achieving such outstanding sales figures, and which help to reinforce our dominance across the higher end of the market. Shropshire continues to be one of the most sought-after locations to live in the country, and these figures highlight not only the wealth of high quality properties available, but the growing interest from genuine buyers, which is great news for the local property market.”

Zoopla, the second most visited property website in the UK, is an online search directory of properties which provides prospective buyers with valuable information on all 27 million residential properties across the whole of the country. During the same period, other agents listed on the site recorded overall sales of properties from across the same geographical area of between 2.3% to 11.4%.
