Style Optique to make donations from eye tests to the Market Drayton Food Bank

Market Drayton based independent optical boutique practice, Style Optique, is to donate all private eyewear test fees paid from clients throughout January 2023, to the Market Drayton Foodbank.

Eva Davé, Director, co-founder & Eyewear Stylist at Style Optique said: ‘We want to support those local people who are in crisis and need throughout January, an often-difficult and tough time of the year after the excess of the Christmas season. So in January 2023 we will be donating all of our fees from private eyewear test appointments to the Market Drayton Foodbank. We are happy to be giving something back into the wonderful local community of Market Drayton.’’

“We’d also like to encourage people to put their health first in the new year by coming forward for a sight test. Over 5 million people globally will start 2023 with forms of blindness which is often preventable but often made worse by missing or not attending routine eye examinations. It’s therefore advised that people prioritise this area of their health with routine checks for their sight.”

The Market Drayton Foodbank offers three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis. They are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

Style Optique is truly independent in the field of optical style and carries some of the World’s most beautiful, unique, independent eyewear brands. They are a multi award winning, independent optical boutique based in Market Drayton, whom offer expert eyewear styling advice, an excellent service, great experience and exceptional, often exclusive, eyewear. They are pioneers in the world of eyewear styling and are both disrupting and leading the optical industry into a new era of how people see and buy eyewear. They are 100% focused on their clients and offer eyewear styling consultations in addition to cutting edge optical health advice.

They won ‘Fashion Practice of the Year’ at the Optician Awards in 2019; ‘Practice of the Year’ at the Optical Success Academy Awards in 2016; and also a Shropshire Business Award in 2017 for Outstanding Customer Service. And for four years running 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020, they have been selected as one of the top 5 fashion practices nationally for their superior eyewear and styling consultations.
