7video team members banged up for prime time BBC TV series
Film, animation and marketing professionals from a Shropshire-based media production company spent the day behind bars in the latest episode of hit BBC series The Apprentice.

The team from 7video starred alongside contestants from the latest series battling it out for Sir Alan Sugar’s investment.
In the latest episode, budding entrepreneurs had to sell tickets for VIP experiences at Blists Hill Victorian Town in Telford and Shrewsbury Prison.
After successfully negotiating the price of tickets over a hotly contested game of pool, members of the 7video team were banged up for the day at the prison.
There they experienced life behind bars with the show’s contestants acting as prison guards, before they were treated to a meal and then released for good behaviour.
7video’s operations director Ben Payne, who appeared on the show, said: “It was a really great experience for everyone. We are used to being behind the camera filming lots of great projects across the UK but it was great to be in front of it for such a classic series like this, and meet Karren Brady too.
“Negotiations went well for the tickets at our office but the contestants really managed to get their own back when we were prisoners - ordering us around and shouting at us.”
The appearance on The Apprentice was extra special because it is 7video’s 15th birthday.
It has been a particularly successful few years for the film and animation company which has enjoyed strong growth in multiple sectors.
And instead of firing people, they have been busy hiring with a 15-strong team and an imminent move to a new purpose-built, two-story building near to where they are currently based on the Shrewsbury Business Park.
Director Pete Sims said: “I’m so proud of all of our success which is thanks to our hard working team and all our amazing customers.
“It really is a great time to celebrate our birthday and we look forward to an exciting future - the appearance on The Apprentice was the icing on the cake.”
