Shrewsbury-based Mid West Displays, manufacturer of display products, has announced a unique partnership with a leading UK conservation organisation.

Mid West Displays partners with The Future Forest Company for Plant A Tree Scheme

The company will work with The Future Forest Company to plant a tree for every order from their recently launched Claralight™ range of LED lightpockets and freestanding displays.

The Future Forest Company exists to 'remove CO2 from the atmosphere, restore biodiversity and fight climate change.'

Their mission is to plant enough trees to remove 1 million tonnes of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere by 2030, and the Mid West Displays scheme will contribute to this plan which sees the planting of native, broadleaf trees on UK sites to 'create thriving habitats for wildlife.'

Mid West Displays claim to have put sustainability at the heart of the new range, and therefore see the link as a natural extension of the range’s environmental credentials.

The Claralight™ LED lightpocket is made from over 60% recycled material (by nett weight) and the use of 24v LEDs not only produces a 40% reduction in power use while Claralight™ freestanding display stands’ base and frame also made from recycled material.

Michelle Farnsworth of Mid West Displays said this week “Anyone who visits The Future Forest Company’s website will immediately see they are uncompromising in their aim to fight climate change. Unlike similar schemes, our The Plant A Tree Scheme offers full trackability – customers receive e-certification to confirm the tree has been planted & GPS coordinates so they can see tree grow from sapling to full maturity.”
