Enterprise House welcomes new manager
Enterprise South West Shropshire has announced the appointment of Polly Owen as its new manager.

A familiar face in the area, Polly has lived locally all her life, studied Rural Business Development at Harper Adams and has worked with numerous national and local organisations.
With her knowledge and understanding of the area, along with her experience she will be a valuable addition to the team.
Enterprise South West Shropshire is a successful social enterprise, based in Enterprise House in Bishop’s Castle, which has specialised in supporting the community, groups and businesses in the wider area for over 25 years.
Home to the library, Village Outreach Equipment Hire, privately rented workshops, offices and community storage, Enterprise House also provides a diverse variety of services from printing and publishing, IT support, business support, meeting space hire and co-working desks through to managing the SpArC Theatre and the Artificial Sports Pitch.
The past 18 months has seen the introduction of several new projects, including the Enterprise Initiative business support project, the Bishop’s Castle and Beyond visitor website and the Co-working Hub, all of which have been managed by Polly on a freelance basis.
On her new position, which starts on May 1st, Polly said: “I’m really looking forward to becoming a permanent member of the team. Enterprise House is an essential asset to our community, and this is a fantastic opportunity to support the company’s continuing development in this important role.”
Acting Manager Sarah Ellison said: “We are really excited to welcome Polly as manager, we work brilliantly as a team and she is a pleasure to work with. We are all looking forward to a bright future at Enterprise South West Shropshire.”
