Health and safety clients of a Shropshire firm are set to receive even greater support thanks to a fresh approach.

Henshalls health and safety clients to benefit from new approach

Henshalls insurance brokers, which has its head office in Newport, has agreed a deal with Wenlock Health & Safety Ltd to take over the running of its in-house division.

Mark Freeman, for Henshalls, said: “At Henshalls, we are dedicated to delivering the very best client experience to all our customers.

“And it’s not just about the insurance side of our business – we’re committed to helping companies comply with all the relevant health and safety legislation too.

“As demand for these services has grown, it has become clear that our customers need wider and more expansive support.

“And now, thanks to our arrangement with Wenlock Health & Safety, our customers will have access to even greater resources and advice.”

Wenlock Health & Safety is run by Becki Shenton and the company has been helping businesses achieve compliance for over 20 years.

They have a team of eight staff who work closely together to offer a high level of service, with four highly-qualified consultants.

The team can advise on health and safety systems, inspections of premises and sites, risk and COSHH assessments, as well as documentation, face fit testing, and PAT testing. There are also a range of training courses they can deliver including first aid, mental health first aid, CITB courses, asbestos awareness, manual handling, and fire wardens/extinguishers.

Becki said: “We’re very pleased to be stepping in to begin this fresh approach to health and safety for the loyal clients that Henshalls has supported for such a long time.

“Our team has many years of experience and clients can be reassured that the structure of the services will remain the same and that the support they need will always be available.”
