Three-storey commercial property in Shrewsbury town centre snapped up by a local investor
A three-storey commercial property prominently located in Shrewsbury town centre has been snapped up by a local investor.
The property at 8 Castle Gates provides versatile accommodation and extends in total to 640 sq ft.
It has operated as a taxi office for a number of years and offers scope for a range of retail and other similar uses, subject to planning.
Toby Shaw, who handled the sale for Towler Shaw Roberts, said: “The property generated a high level of interest before we were pleased to complete a sale to a local investor.
“It once again underlines the strong demand there is for well located properties in Shrewsbury town centre when they become available.
“It’s fitted out to a modern standard, benefits from an an attractive glazed frontage, and occupies a sought-after location close to Shrewsbury railway station and many other amenities.”
The property features a ground floor retail sales area, with separate office and kitchen facilities on the upper floors. It also has a small enclosed yard area to the rear.
Offers over £100,000 were invited by TSR.
