Exciting new chapter for Our Green Shop in Bridgnorth
Our Green Shop, Bridgnorth's cherished not-for-profit community-based enterprise, is set to expand and relocate.
After three years at Mill Street in Low Town, the pioneering eco-friendly shop is moving to a new home at Waterloo Terrace in High Town, with its doors set to open on Saturday, 30th March.
Founded in 2021, Our Green Shop has become a beacon for sustainable living, offering an array of economical, low-waste, plastic-free alternatives, organic wholefoods, specialist diet items, and ethical toiletries and household products.
The move to Waterloo Terrace marks a significant milestone in the shop's journey, allowing it to expand its offerings to include a wide range of ethical gifts and home and lifestyle products. This evolution not only enhances the shop's unique appeal but also furthers its mission to be a force for good for both people and the planet.
The directors of Our Green Shop extend their heartfelt gratitude to all volunteers and shareholders, whose dedication and hard work have been instrumental in making this exciting move possible. "We are immensely thankful for the support and enthusiasm of our community. It's because of you that Our Green Shop can continue to grow and inspire more sustainable ways of living," said a spokesperson for the shop.
Special thanks are also extended to Andy and Kate Frisby, the new landlords and owners of Platform 10, who have played a crucial role in this transition. Their support and belief in the vision of Our Green Shop have been vital in securing the new space at Waterloo Terrace, a location that promises greater visibility and accessibility, ensuring the shop's continued success and impact.
The directors invite the community and supporters to join them in celebrating the grand opening on 30th March. The move to High Town not only represents a physical shift but also a significant step forward in the shop's mission to encourage a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle for everyone.
"Our Green Shop is more than just a store; it's a community hub where people can learn, share, and contribute to a more sustainable future. We are excited about this new chapter and look forward to welcoming old and new faces to our shop in High Town," the spokesperson added.
