Telford based retailer raises £5000 for people in need

Vivactive, a Telford based online retailer has successfully raised over £5,000 in just three months for The Hygiene Bank. The money will be used to provide basic hygiene essentials to people in need, making a huge impact on families affected by hygiene poverty.

Their partnership reflects Vivactive’s ongoing commitment to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable people. Customers contributed to the fundraising efforts by donating a small amount with each purchase. This showcases the power of collective action and compassion for those most in need in our society.

"We are immensely proud to support The Hygiene Bank in their vital work to end hygiene poverty in the UK. Hygiene poverty is an issue that affects 4.2 million people across the UK, and this partnership allows us, along with our incredible customers, to give back to the community in a meaningful way," said the Vivactive Team.

The partnership is ongoing and the funds raised will go directly towards enabling The Hygiene Bank to continue its essential works and providing hygiene products such as soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, and incontinence supplies to individuals and families in need, restoring people’s health, confidence and opportunities for a better future.

Ruth Brock, CEO at The Hygiene Bank said, "I am so grateful to Vivactive and their customers for joining The Hygiene Bank in the fight against hygiene poverty. Partnerships like this are crucial in helping us extend our reach and provide basic hygiene products to more people pulled into hygiene poverty across the UK. The support from Vivactive and their customers is a shining example of how businesses can make a positive impact in the lives of many."

This partnership is a testament to how businesses and charities can work together to create meaningful change and inspire others to take action.
