X-Press launches annual collection to support The Shrewsbury Ark

To celebrate its 25th anniversary, X-Press Legal Services Central has made a donation and launched an annual donation initiative to support The Shrewsbury Ark, a charity dedicated to helping vulnerable adults and those experiencing homelessness in Shropshire.

Based in Shrewsbury, X-Press Legal Services Central, a leading property search provider, is using this anniversary to give back to its local community. David Mermod, owner of X-Press Legal Services Central, has supported The Shrewsbury Ark on previous occasions, building a meaningful connection with the charity and making it a fitting choice for this milestone initiative.

The Shrewsbury Ark provides essential support, including housing advice, mental health assistance, addiction recovery guidance, and access to basic facilities like showers and laundry services. The contribution from X-Press Legal Services Central will directly aid the Ark in empowering individuals with personalised support plans, ensuring they have the tools to build brighter futures.

“Reaching 25 years in business is a remarkable milestone, and we’re thrilled to mark it by giving back to the community that has been such a key part of our journey,” commented David Mermod, owner of X-Press Legal Services Central. “Partnering with The Shrewsbury Ark aligns perfectly with our values, and launching this annual collection drive is a meaningful way to make a lasting impact.”

The launch of the collection drive has already seen contributions from local organisations, including Aaron & Partners LLP, Hatchers Solicitors LLP, Talbots Law, and PCB Solicitors LLP. Their generosity has laid the foundation for a growing tradition of community support.

The Shrewsbury Ark is in urgent need of essential items to continue its vital work. Donations such as three-season sleeping bags, rucksacks, toiletries, warm clothing, and winter accessories can be made via their website or through their Amazon wish list at shrewsburyark.co.uk.
