Shropshire filmmakers launch Lush Studio after more than a decade of storytelling through film

Creative partners Miche and Tom Middleton have launched Lush Studio, a new creative studio based in the Shropshire Hills that brings together film production, branding, website design and social media strategy.

Shropshire filmmakers launch Lush Studio after more than a decade of storytelling through film

The studio has grown out of more than ten years of filmmaking through Lush Films, where the pair built a reputation for creating cinematic films for businesses across tourism, hospitality, rural enterprise and artisan brands.

Over time they began to notice something frustrating.

Many businesses were investing in beautiful films and photography, but the content often wasn’t being used well. Films were buried deep within websites, brands lacked clarity, and strong stories were lost behind confusing digital experiences.

"We realised we could help our clients much more by shaping the whole picture," says Miche Middleton. "Film will always be our first love, but great storytelling needs the right structure around it. Design, websites, strategy and social media all need to work together."

Before moving into filmmaking, Miche worked in London as a web and graphic designer during the early years of ecommerce. Tom built his career in film production, developing a deep love for cinematic storytelling and visual craft.

Today their work blends those skills together, helping businesses translate what they do into clear, engaging visual stories.

"We love working with people who care deeply about what they do," says Tom Middleton. "Our job is simply to help them show the world."

Based in the Shropshire Hills but working with clients across the UK, Lush Studio now offers a complete creative process from brand strategy and design through to websites, photography, film production and social media content.

The new website brings together a growing portfolio of projects and marks the next chapter for the studio.

"Our clients are doing brilliant things," says Miche. "We just love helping them be seen beautifully."
