Circus Funtasia brings high-octane thrills to Telford and Oswestry this March
Shropshire is set for a whirlwind of adrenaline, laughter, and gravity-defying feats as the phenomenal Circus Funtasia prepares to pitch its big top in Telford and Oswestry this March.
Known for its high-energy, modern take on the traditional circus, this touring spectacular promises an unforgettable experience that will leave audiences of all ages completely spellbound.
A Spectacle of Skill and Daring
Forget everything you think you know about the circus; Circus Funtasia is a fast-paced, contemporary show that swaps the predictable for the extraordinary. This year’s production is headlined by heart-stopping stunts that will have you gripping the edge of your seat.
Witness the roar of the petrol engines as world-class motorbike riders perform impossible manoeuvres inside the legendary Globe of Death. If that wasn’t enough to get your pulse racing, the "Wheel of Death" sees fearless performers leap and skip across a rotating pendulum high above the circus ring—defying gravity and common sense in equal measure.
Culture, Comedy, and Charisma
It isn’t all white-knuckle tension, however. The show brings a vibrant burst of international talent to Shropshire with the Cuban Acrobatic Troupe. Their rhythmic movements, incredible strength, and infectious joy tell a story of celebration that is sure to captivate the crowd.
Providing the laughs is the award-winning comedic genius known simply as “The Geek.” Moving away from the traditional "red nose" clowning, The Geek offers a fresh, hilarious brand of comedy, combining side-splitting tales with cheeky audience interaction that ensures no two shows are ever quite the same.
The Full Circus Experience
No visit to the big top would be complete without the nostalgic smells and tastes of the fair. As you enter the heated big top, the aroma of fresh popcorn and sweet candy floss fills the air, setting the stage for a magical afternoon or evening out. Whether you’re a family looking for a half-term treat or a group of friends seeking something different, the atmosphere is electric from start to finish.
