The hunt is officially on this Easter as Salop Leisure prepares to transform its Emstrey site into a venue for budding detectives.

Family fun awaits at Salop Leisure this Easter

The award-winning caravan and motorhome dealership has announced the return of its popular Easter trail, promising a weekend of light-hearted mystery and seasonal treats for families across the region.

Running from Friday, 3 April through to Monday, 6 April, the event invites youngsters to sharpen their observation skills. The adventure begins at the main Salop Leisure reception, where participants can pick up their official trail sheets. From there, families will embark on a quest through the expansive grounds of both the dealership and the neighbouring LovePlants specialist plant centre.

The mission is simple yet engaging: hunters must track down a series of hidden letters tucked away amongst the leisure vehicles and spring blooms to decode a secret mystery word.

Success is rewarded in the most traditional of ways. Once the puzzle is solved, children can return their completed sheets to reception to claim a well-earned chocolate egg. While the event is entirely free to enter, the team at Salop Leisure is encouraging visitors to bring along a little spare change. All voluntary donations collected throughout the weekend will go directly to Severn Hospice, supporting the vital specialist care they provide to the local community.

Ed Glover, Head of Marketing at Salop Leisure, said he hopes to see lots of families take part in the Easter trail. “We look forward to welcoming families to Salop Leisure and LovePlants to take part in our trail. It’s a great time to visit, with LovePlants bursting into colour, and plenty of Spring deals to take advantage of at both LovePlants and Salop Leisure.

“And after all that hunting, you can enjoy some refreshments at our on-site café, LoveCoffee!”

For those who find that all that letter-hunting worked up an appetite, the on-site café, LoveCoffee, will be open to provide a much-needed pitstop. It offers the perfect spot to relax with a hot drink or a snack while the kids enjoy the spoils of their search.

Prospective participants should note that the Easter Trail operates on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks of chocolate eggs last.
