Jumping for inclusion: 16-year-old Maggie’s skydive for a Shropshire charity close to her heart
On 20th June, a local teenager will be taking on an extraordinary challenge in support of a charity that has helped change lives across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin.

Sixteen-year-old Maggie will be completing her second skydive, raising funds for the 4 All Foundation, a local organisation dedicated to creating inclusive opportunities and helping people of all ages feel connected, confident and valued.
For Maggie, this challenge is about much more than adrenaline.
“I’m jumping out of a plane again,” she says. “Yep, again! This will be my second skydive, because apparently once wasn’t enough and I might be slightly addicted to adrenaline.”
Maggie is autistic and has ASD, ADHD and Dyslexia. Like many neurodivergent young people, she has found that school and traditional learning environments haven’t always been straightforward. What has made a lasting difference in her life has been access to opportunities outside of education, particularly through sport.
She now plays ice hockey at Division 1 and Elite level in the UK, an achievement that reflects not only sporting talent, but confidence, resilience and determination. Maggie credits sport with helping her build belief in herself and showing her what is possible when the right support is in place.
“Being given the opportunity to take part in sport showed me that with the right support and spaces, young people can absolutely shine, regardless of labels or diagnoses,” she explains.
That belief is what inspired her to fundraise for the 4 All Foundation.
The charity works across Shropshire and Telford delivering inclusive youth and community programmes through local hubs, schools and outreach. Its work includes sports sessions, creative workshops, holiday clubs and community events, all designed to provide safe, positive environments where people can feel included and empowered.
As a small, community-based organisation, the foundation plays a vital role in supporting individuals who may otherwise struggle to access opportunities, helping them discover their strengths and build confidence.
“Their work helps young people discover what lights them up,” Maggie says. “Just like I did through sport.”
Fundraising events such as Maggie’s skydive are essential in helping the charity continue its work and reach more people across the county.
“Events like this are a much-needed boost to help the 4 All Foundation keep supporting local communities and creating opportunities for everyone, not just those who fit neatly into a box,” she adds.
On 20th June, Maggie will be taking her leap with a smile on her face, raising money for a cause she genuinely believes in.
“I’ll be jumping out of a plane for a charity that truly changes lives. Thank you so much for supporting me and the 4 All Foundation. Every donation helps create more opportunities for people to thrive.”
Anyone wishing to support Maggie’s skydive, sponsor her challenge or share her story is encouraged to do so, helping ensure vital community programmes can continue to make a difference across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin.
