Families and residents in Telford are being invited to roll out a mat and enjoy free outdoor yoga sessions at Bowring Park in Wellington this summer.

Free Park Yoga sessions return to Bowring Park in Wellington

Park Yoga Telford takes place every Sunday morning from 9.30 am to 10.30 am, running from the first weekend in May through to mid-September.

The sessions are free to attend, with no booking required, and children and young people are welcome as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

Participants are asked to bring a mat or towel and a drink, along with sun cream and a hat if the weather is warm.

Organisers say the sessions will go ahead whatever the weather, giving people the chance to enjoy gentle exercise, fresh air and time outdoors in one of Wellington’s green spaces.

Suggested parking areas are available on the Park Yoga Telford map, along with details of how to enter the park on foot. Visitors are asked to avoid parking in nearby streets, and all vehicles are parked at owners’ risk.

Park Yoga will always remain free to attend, but donations are welcomed to help cover the cost of running the sessions. Donations support existing and new venues, pay for instructors, help buy equipment and contribute towards insurance, training, website management and wider running costs.

For more information about Park Yoga Telford, visit parkyoga.co/telford.
