Seven people have been taken to hospital, one in a serious condition, after two cars collided in Shropshire last night.

The crash happened on the A41 at Weston Heath at around 8.15pm yesterday evening.
Two men suffered serious injuries in the crash, which happened at Weston Heath at about 8.20pm yesterday and involved a silver Vauxhall Astra and a silver Peugeot 307 estate.
Both seriously injured men were passengers in the Vauxhall. One was taken to the Princess Royal Hospital with multiple injuries, before later being transferred to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire. His condition was today described as critical but stable.

Five more people, a man, a woman and a girl from the Peugeot and two men from the Vauxhall, were also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police have appealed for witnesses, in particular the driver of a lorry, who may have witnessed the collision.
Police Constable Tim Viner, who is investigating the circumstances of the crash, said there was a heavy goods vehicle in the area at the time, the driver of which may have important information about the incident.
“I would urge the driver of this lorry, who was travelling southbound along the A41 at the time, to please get in touch,” he said.
“I am also keen to hear from anyone else who might have seen what happened or witness the manner of driving by either vehicle involved, to contact police on 0300 333 3000.”
“The Vauxhall was travelling southbound at the time of the collision and the Peugeot in the opposite direction.”
The road was blocked and closed until just after midnight while the vehicles were recovered and police collision investigators worked.
