Teenage Motorist Dies after Colliding with Tree
A Shropshire teenager has died after her car crashed into a tree in Cheshire.
The driver, 18-year-old Rebecca Canning, from Loggerheads, near Market Drayton, sustained fatal injuries in the collision.
Rebecca, was driving back from college in her silver Daewoo Lanos along the A51 towards Woore when it left the carriageway to the nearside and collided with a tree just before 4pm yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services attended the scene, at Doddington, just south of Nantwich, but were unable to save the teenager.
