Fire-fighters tackle blaze at disused Shropshire pub

Fire-fighters from Shrewsbury, Minsterley, Wellington, Telford and Newport all attended the blaze at the Hare and Hounds at Cruckton near Hanwood.

The fire broke out before 4.30am this morning affecting the ground floor, 1st floor and roof space of the building.

The B4386 was closed for a time during the height of the fire.

Fire investigation officers are currently at the scene with the fire understood to be of doubtful origin.
