Hundreds of DVDs stolen during Shrewsbury house burglary
Anyone offered DVDs for sale under dubious circumstances or via car boot sales or websites such as eBay are urged to be vigilant by police, after more than 300 were stolen during a burglary at a house in Shrewsbury.

The stolen items all have a silver sticker on them with the name, address and contact telephone number for the owner and anyone who might see or purchase such items is asked to contact police on 0300 333 3000.
The burglary took place at an address in Byfield between about 6.30pm on Sunday 17th April and 1.30pm on Tuesday 19th April.
A garage was broken into and the DVDs stolen, along with bottles of wine and two and a half boxes of Stella Artois lager.
Police Constable Lyndsey Howells, from Shrewsbury Police Station, appealed for anyone who might have witnessed suspicious persons or vehicles in the Byfield area during that time to get in touch.
“I am also keen to hear from anyone who might come across any of the DVDs for sale at places like car boot sales or online auction sites such as eBay,” she said.
“The DVDs all had a silver sticker on the back with the owners’ details, so people should be suspicious of any items which match this description.
“Police can be contacted on 0300 333 3000 and information can also be passed on anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
