Witness appeal to Shrewsbury town centre collision
Several people who witnessed an altercation between the driver of a car and a traffic attendant in Shrewsbury immediately before a minor collision took place are urged to contact police.

Police Constable Ben Hocking, who is investigating the incident, said a number of people are understood to have seen what happened in High Street, by Santander, at about 1pm yesterday.
A black Mercedes C220 was reportedly parked on the pavement and was asked to move several times by a female traffic attendant.
After the attendant placed a ticket on the vehicle, it is alleged its male driver pulled out into the road, resulting in a minor collision between the car’s front wing and the traffic attendant. She was not injured.
PC Hocking said: “The car was stopped a short distance away in the car park by Rowley’s House and its driver spoken to.
“A lot of people are understood to have witnessed the altercation between the driver and parking attendant, followed by the minor collision, and I ask those people to please contact me on 0300 333 3000.
“Two women in particular who were apparently standing on the pavement outside the bank could be important witnesses.”
