Transport police appeal for help in identifying two men
British Transport Police officers investigating an assault at Herefordshire railway station are today re-appealing for the public’s help to identify two men possibly from Shropshire they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

It is thought the two men, seen here on CCTV at Hereford rail station, caught a train to Ludlow, following the incident which happened at around 10.30pm on Friday March 18.
Officers believe both men will have information which can assist the investigation.
Detective Constable David Browning, investigating officer, said the incident took place by the ticket barriers on platform three at the railway station.
DC Browning said: “The 23-year-old victim, from Malvern, Worcestershire, was assaulted while waiting for a friend to arrive at the station.
“He suffered bruising and swelling to his face, as well as suffering some memory loss as a result of this incident.
“Enquiries are going and, having viewed CCTV footage from Hereford rail station, officers would now like to speak to the men in these photographs as we believe they will be able to help us with our enquiries.
“I would ask anyone who recognises these men, who we believe caught a train to Ludlow a short while after this incident happened, to contact BTP in confidence.”
Anyone with information which they believe can assist officers is urged to contact British Transport Police on Freefone 0800 40 50 40, quoting incident reference B9 of 07/04/2011, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
