Bridgnorth fire victim named
An elderly woman who died following a fire at her Shropshire home on Monday, was this afternoon formally named as Mrs Norma Foster, aged 90, of Burcote, Bridgnorth.

Mrs Foster died when a fire broke out at her rural cottage close to the village of Rindleford near Bridgnorth just before 6.43pm on Monday.
On arriving firefighters were informed that an elderly lady may possibly be inside of the house, a crew wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and located the lady rescuing her from the property.
Police officers then performed life support on the woman outside of property until an ambulance crew arrived and took over. Despite all of the efforts, the woman was confirmed dead at the scene.
South Shropshire Coroner Mr Anthony Sibcy was due to open an inquest on Mrs Foster, a widow, in Ludlow this afternoon. After hearing evidence of identification it will be adjourned to a future date.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service and the police are preparing a report on the circumstances. It is being treated as an unexplained death but at this stage there is nothing to suggest it is suspicious.
