Appeal made following Equestrian equipment theft in Muxton
An appeal for information has been made after thousands of pounds worth of equestrian equipment was stolen from a storage container on a field in Wellington Road in Muxton.

Thieves broke into the unit, which was stood on the field which the horses are kept in, by forcing open a window some time between 7pm on Wednesday and 7.15am on Thursday.
More than £5,000 worth of equipment was stolen including six leather saddles, 11 bridles, two breast plates and one leather head collar. Some of them have makes such as Farrington, Jeffries and Stuben. The bridles are quite unique due to the fact they have been handcrafted. One bears the letters PJ on a red disc.
A Telford Police spokeswoman said: “Thieves forced the window to the container and placed items into two nearby wheelbarrows.
“They then used the wheelbarrows to transport the stolen goods approximately one mile across fields over the hump back bridge over A518 New Trench Road leading to The Humbers, where they made their escape.
“The wheelbarrows were found abandoned and the victim was left extremely upset by what has happened.
“If you have any information in relation to the theft or have been offered any of the stolen items for sale, we would like to hear from you.”
Telford Police can be contacted on 0300 333 3000 or the anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555111.
