White Stuff store hosts Hive fundraising day
Shrewsbury’s branch of popular clothing retailer The White Stuff launched the store’s new partnership with the Hive Music and Media Centre in true style on Thursday with a special coffee and cake event!
Members of the Hive’s staff team were present throughout the day to help serve cake and cups of tea to eager-shoppers browsing the store’s latest summer collection – and the event is the first of many to take place in the future, as the Hive and The White Stuff establish their new-found connection.
The Hive is an independent arts organisation based in Shrewsbury and working across Shropshire and the wider region to give young people opportunities to have fun, be creative and develop new creative skills. The Centre has only recently joined forces with the Shrewsbury store as their new charity partner, working with The White Stuff Foundation, which aims to make the world a little happier by helping disadvantaged children and young people in local communities.
Habib Malik-Mansell, Marketing Assistant at the Hive said “Thursday’s event at the Shrewsbury store was a great success and provided the perfect opportunity for the Hive team to promote our work to high-street shoppers in a relaxed environment. We’re very much looking forward to supporting The White Stuff Foundation in their aim to help children and young people realise their true potential and there are some exciting plans in the pipeline for the coming months, working closely with the Shrewsbury team.
