Nine arrested following fights in Bridgnorth
Police are appealing for witnesses to outbreaks of violent disorder in Bridgnorth at the weekend which resulted in nine arrests.

Officers dealt with several incidents in High Street, Whitburn Street and at the Crown Public House.
Nine men were arrested on suspicion of affray. After being taken into custody for interview they were given conditional police bail pending further inquiries.
The disorder broke out in the early hours of Sunday, between 12.15am and 3.30am. Some of those involved had been drinking in the Crown. It is not yet known whether the incidents are linked.
The trouble started shortly after midnight on Saturday when a group of people were ejected from the Crown and began fighting nearby in the High Street. Police arrested six men aged from 18 to 22.
Three more men were arrested when officers came across them fighting in the High Street shortly before 3.30am. The three, aged 18, 19 and 22 were also arrested on suspicion of affray.
In a third incident, a 21-year-old man was taken to hospital by ambulance with a broken jaw following an incident in Whitburn Street between 3am and 3.30am.
He is thought to have been punched in the face by a man described as white, about 6ft 2ins tall with tattoos on his upper arms. The assailant had been seen earlier in the company of a ginger haired man.
Sergeant Simon Rees, one of the investigating officers, said: “These were serious incidents of disorder involving a number of young men. This kind of behaviour will not be tolerated and the police will not hesitate to make arrests.
“Wherever there is sufficient evidence, we will charge offenders and put them before the courts. There is no excuse for causing violent disorder and I am appealing to anyone who saw any of these incidents, to please contact Bridgnorth police station on 0300-333-3000. Information can also be given to the anonymous Crimestoppers number, 0800-555-111.”
