Shropshire young carers group launch documentary film
The Hive Music and Media Centre hosted the premier screening of Priceless on Saturday June 4 with a special launch party and presentation event.

Priceless has been produced in association with The British Red Cross Young Carers Forum and depicts life as a young carer.
Saturday’s screening was the culmination of a successful project which has been running throughout 2011, delivered through a partnership of The British Red Cross, Shropshire Museums Service and the Hive Music and Media Centre.
The Priceless project has provided the Young Carers group with the opportunity to work with professional media artists, to produce their own documentary from start to finish, incorporating everything from interviewing members of the public through to filming and final editing.
Habib Malik-Mansell, Marketing Assistant at the Hive said “The Young Carers should be immensely proud of the Priceless film and everything they have achieved, with Saturday’s launch event proving a huge success. It was positive for Shrewsbury’s Mayor, Councillor Tony Durnell and the High Sheriff of Shropshire, Richard Burbidge OBE, to view the film and learn about the experiences of Young Carers in the county”.
The Priceless project was funded by the Renaissance In The Regions programme.
