Shrewsbury road re-opens in time for concert
The eastbound section of Hazledine Way in Shrewsbury re-opened this afternoon in time for the Elton John concert which is taking place tomorrow evening.
The eastbound section was closed last Sunday following major work by Shropshire Council engineers and contractors to repair a large void in the road and footway.
The road will remain open to all traffic and pedestrians for the remainder of the weekend, but will close again for a time on Monday for minor completion works to be carried out.
The road will be temporarily closed early Monday morning before full completion of the work before 8am.
