A police search for a missing Shropshire woman was called off last night after she was found safe and well.

Mrs Sarah Helen Dunk, aged 52, of Haughmond, near Shrewsbury, was located near her home just after 7.30pm.

Police said there had been growing concern for her welfare and were pleased she had been safely traced.

They launched a search on Monday night after Mrs Dunk’s family reported her missing. Around 25 officers were involved yesterday checking the wooded area and fields around Haughmond Hill.
