Boy injured after falling from climbing frame in Ellesmere
A boy has been airlifted to hospital after falling from a climbing frame in Ellesmere.

The ten-year-old reportedly fell around three metres from the climbing frame at a park on the A495 in Ellesmere at around 1.15pm this afternoon.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “The boy sustained a fractured wrist and elbow and was in considerable pain.
“Crews and the doctor gave the boy pain relief to make him comfortable whilst they immobilised his arm with a splint. The boy was also immobilised with a neck collar and spinal board as a precaution due to the length of the fall.”
The boy was then airlifted to Birmingham Children’s Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
