Mountain bike cyclist suffers injury in south Shropshire
A mountain bike cyclist has been airlifted to hospital in Shropshire after suffering a serious chest injury.

The 43 year old was riding about half a mile to the east of Little Stretton at around 6.50pm yesterday evening when he went over his handle bars on a steep slope.
An ambulance crew got their vehicle as close as possible but had to walk for around 15 minutes carrying their equipment to get to the patient.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "Given the location of the incident, the crew requested a helicopter and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford was dispatched to the scene.
“As it was on route, the crew assessed the condition of the patient, who was found to have a serious chest injury.
“They immobilised him using a neck collar and spinal board as a precaution as the patient, who was from Church Stretton, had fallen on a slope and had tumbled."
The man was airlifted to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital where medics were awaiting his arrival.
