Jewellery stolen in high value Telford burglary
Police are investigating after thieves stole thousands of pounds of jewellery after breaking into a Telford home.

The break-in happened at an address in Marsh Meadow Close in Shawbirch some time between 8.30am and 6.20pm on Thursday.
Thieves entered the property through an insecure window and carried out a thorough search of the premises.
Possessions worth in excess of £10,000 were stolen including jewellery, a computer, perfume and alcohol.
Police are looking into the matter and want to hear from anyone with information regarding the burglary.
A Telford Police spokeswoman said: “This is a high value burglary where a lot of expensive jewellery has been stolen.
“Specific items stolen include a grey Toshiba laptop, DKNY women’s watch, a black Armani watch, a white Dolce and Gabanna watch and a Gucci watch.
“Other items include a Tiffany ring, two Tiffany necklaces, a Tiffany heart shaped ring, a diamond square thick banded ring, a made to order diamond cluster ring and an
eight diamond ring.
“Champagne glasses, alcohol and a number of bottles of perfume were also stolen.
“Thieves took two pillowcases from the bedrooms to carry the items and left by going through a rear door.
“The burglary happened during the day so we are appealing to any neighbours or passing motorists who heard or saw anything. If you saw anything, or have been offered any of the stolen items for sale, then please contact us.”
The spokeswoman added: “Unfortunately on this occasion a small window had been left open, due to the warmer weather, which thieves managed to get in through.
“We would like to remind residents that opportunist thieves will be on the lookout for insecure homes, businesses, garages and sheds and will break in, no matter how small an insecure window may be.
“Please ensure that your property is secure by locking all doors and windows and mark your property.
