Police hope girls caught on CCTV in Wem can solve theft case
Police believe these two girls may be able to help them solve a theft case in which goods were stolen from outside a Wem shop.
The young women are featured on CCTV walking through Wem at the time when bundles of magazines were stolen from outside Glovers Newsagents in High Street.
Nearly 100 News of the World magazines were taken from outside the front of the shop early on Sunday, May 22.
Police Constable Annie Hughes, the investigating officer based at Wem police station, said today: “The girls were in the vicinity at the time so may have seen something suspicious connected with the theft.
“I would urge them to call me at Wem police station on 0300 333 3000 and likewise, if anyone else knows their identity”.
