Church Stretton man cautioned for cannabis possession
A man in his 40s has received a police caution for drug possession after officers carried out a search at an address in Church Stretton.

Two police officers attended the property in McClintock Place at about 2pm on Friday 8 July 2011, after receiving information that there was believed to be cannabis at the premises.
They were allowed access by the occupant and recovered 21 small bags containing cannabis bush.
The man was arrested and interviewed at Shrewsbury Police Station, where he admitted possessing the drugs for his own personal use. He was given a police caution as a result.
Police Constable Sean Bailey, Local Policing Officer for Church Stretton, encouraged anyone who might have concerns about potential drug offences in their community to report them to police.
“Any information we received is logged and assessed and will be acted upon in the appropriate way,” he said.
“Even if there is no immediate, visible police activity as a result, people can be assured that we will be taking action, even if
it is ‘behind the scenes’.
“Information can be passed directly to police on 0300 333 3000 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where a reward can be offered.”
