Ludlow milkman assaulted while making early morning rounds
Police in Ludlow have appealed for witnesses after a milkman was assaulted while he made his early morning rounds.

The victim was in Toll Gate Road when he was approached by a man between about 4am and 5am on Saturday 16 July 2011.
The offender asked if he could have a pint of milk but the victim had none spare. He turned away to offer the man a carton instead but was suddenly punched hard to the face.
The offender then ran off, leaving the victim with bruising and swelling to the eye area. He did not need hospital treatment and reported the incident to an officer later that same morning.
Police Constable Richard Jones, who is investigating the assault, said nothing was stolen from the milkman and the offender ran off immediately after hitting him.
"The man was white, in his late 20s to early 30s, about 5ft 9in in height and of stocky build," he said.
"He was wearing a black hooded top with the logo ‘Lonsdale' across the chest in pale lettering, dark or black trousers or jeans and white trainers.
"Anybody who recognises this description or who saw the man in the area that morning is asked to contact police on 0300 333 3000.
"Information can also be passed on anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where a reward is sometimes offered."
