The Wrekin Housing Trust will be providing more new homes in Newport early next year. The Trust is working with developer McCarthy and Stone to deliver six brand new apartments at Stafford Street in Newport.

The new homes, which are currently under construction, will provide fantastic accommodation for the over 55’s and will consist of four two-bedroom apartments and two one-bedroom apartments, all available for rent.

The spacious apartments will be built to a very high specification. They are located in the centre of Newport and will be ready in January 2012.

Andrea Martin, Asset Renewal Manager for The Wrekin Housing Trust said: ”We’re really looking forward to these homes being completed and giving people the opportunity to enjoy them. They really are great apartments and will add to our portfolio of modern, high quality and affordable homes in the Newport area.”

The Trust has also provided seven new homes at Regents Cresent in Muxton, near Newport, with two more to follow this month and a further thirty-four houses and apartments planned for the next three years.
