Man who ‘watched’ teen use Oswestry toilets sought by police
Police in Oswestry have appealed for the public's help to trace a man who reportedly watched beneath the cubicle as a teenage boy used the toilet.

The incident happened at the public toilets in English Walls at about 1.20pm this afternoon. The suspect is reported to have bent down and watched the victim for a few seconds from an adjoining cubicle.
Nothing was said to the victim and the man then left, leaving the teenager shaken and upset by what had happened. He reported the incident to the attendant and the police were contacted.
The incident is being treated as voyeurism and Police Constable James Nicholson, who is investigating the incident, appealed for anyone who knows the identity of the man or saw someone matching his description in the area at the time to get in touch on 0300 333 3000.
"The town centre was very busy at the time as it was market day, so somebody must have seen this man around the area of the toilets in the afternoon," he said.
"He was white and appeared to be in his late 60s to 70s. He had white hair in a side parting, was clean-shaven and was wearing a light brown, knee-length coat or jacket.
"A search was made by officers of the surrounding area but the man not found. CCTV is also being checked."
Anyone with information about the incident can contact police on 0300 333 3000 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, where a reward is sometimes offered.
