Woman injured following Bridnorth attack
A 24-year-old woman was today receiving treatment for injuries following an attack in Bridgnorth during the early hours of this morning.
The woman was walking along a footpath known as Hospital Walk at around 2am this morning when she was approached by an unknown man.
A struggle between the female and man broke out with a passer-by hearing the commotion.
The male attacker run off towards the town centre.
The victim received a number of injuries during the attack and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident to call them on 0300 333 3000.
