Shrewsbury man charged with 28 fraud offences
A Shrewsbury man who appeared in the Crimestoppers ten “most wanted” people list for alleged fraud crimes in the UK was last night charged with 28 fraud offences after handing himself into Shrewsbury police station on Monday.

Nicholas Slocombe, aged 28, also known as Owen Fox Roswell, is appearing at Shrewsbury magistrates court this morning.
He was charged last night with 18 offences in Leominster, four in Ellesmere, five in Oswestry and one in Staffordshire.
Slocombe was arrested on Monday night after he walked into Shrewsbury police station at around 5.30pm just hours after media publicity reporting he had been seen at an address in the town on Saturday morning following a nationwide search.
He was arrested in April on suspicion of committing more than 30 offences across the two counties. He failed to answer his bail in May and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Several other police forces are also investigating Slocombe with regard to fraud offences in their areas.
