Village Stores in Trefonen Burgled
Police today appealed for witnesses following a burglary at the Trefonen village stores.
It's believed two men in a black car broke into Martins Stores at around 5am this morning.
They gained entry by forcing the front door before making off in the vehicle with a quantity of cash.
Detective Inspector Mick Homden said: "We have spoken to several witnesses but are anxious to receive any further information which may assist our investigation.
"It is possible the offenders may have been in the locality for sometime before they broke in. I am appealing to anyone who spotted anything suspicious to get in touch."
Oswestry CID can be contacted on 0300 333 3000 or information can also be given to the anonymous Crimestoppers number, 0800 555 111.
