Hope of Abraham Darby Academy being able to open at the start of term
Telford and Wrekin council still hope that the Abraham Darby Academy can open at the start of term as normal.

Despite the incident at the Abraham Darby Learning Community construction site on Thursday afternoon, it is hoped that the Abraham Darby Academy can open at the start of term as normal.
The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) is now investigating this incident and specialist construction inspectors have been on site investigating the collapse.
Cllr Paul Watling, cabinet member for Children, Young People and Families, said: "Our thoughts are with the contractors injured in the incident and their families. We wish them a swift recovery.
Steve Hawke, Principal of the Academy, said: "As the existing Abraham Darby Academy and the construction site for the new academy building are separate, we are hopeful that the academy will open as normal when the new term starts in September.
"We await the outcome of the HSE investigation and promise to keep parents of children at the academy up to date with arrangements for the start of term when more information is available via www.abrahamdarbyacademy.org.uk
Cllr Watling added "We will also keep the community up to date about any impact on residents of the incident via www.telford.gov.uk our staff have been out in the community talking to residents.
"Unfortunately there are some road closures around the construction site, and we hope people will appreciate the need for this. This has also affected some bus services in the area as well as routes into Ironbridge."
