Victim fights back against would-be robber in Bridgnorth
A would-be robber's face was burnt with a cigarette when his victim fought back after being attacked in Bridgnorth.

Police believe the man's cheek will have been badly marked when a cigarette was stubbed into his face during last night's attempted robbery. They hope the burn mark will identify the man and are appealing for help in tracing him.
The incident happened just after 7.30pm in the Racecourse Drive/Tasley Close area when a 42-year-old man was attacked from behind by two men as he made his way home.
He was pushed against a wall and an attempt made to steal his wallet from his back pocket. But the victim fought back, stubbing his cigarette hard into the face of one of his assailants and punching the other.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "The victim put up strong resistance in defending himself and as a result, the two attackers fled empty-handed. It's likely one of them will have quite a severe burn mark on one side of his face and we are appealing for information to help us identify and trace him.
"If you know a young man with such a mark, do contact Bridgnorth police station on 0300 333 3000. Information can also be given to the anonymous Crimestoppers number, 0800 555 111."
The man likely to have the burnt face is described as white, aged about 18, of medium build, about 5ft 9ins tall, with short, spikey dark hair. He had pitted skin with teenage stubble and was wearing a grey top which had black writing on one side which continued down onto the leg of grey joggers. His footwear was white glossy style trainers.
His accomplice was described as being of mixed race, aged about 18 or 19, about 5ft 10ins tall, of lanky build, dark eyes and wearing dark blue ripped jeans and a black hoody.
The victim later attended hospital for treatment to a swollen hand and bruising to his head.
