Shotguns stolen during distraction burglary in north Shropshire
Police are investigating following the theft of four shotguns during a distraction burglary in Dudleston Heath, Ellesmere.

A woman returning to her property was approached by a man between approximately 2pm-3pm yesterday. The man said he thought his dog might have got into her yard so she helped the man look for the animal.
A short time later she realised her house had been searched and four shotguns had been stolen, along with a wallet containing cash.
A grey car was spotted nearby with several people in it which may be connected to the offence.
The man who said he was looking for his dog is described as mixed race, aged between 30-40 years, 5 ft 3 to 5 ft 4 tall, of stocky build, he had a round face with stubble and was wearing a dark blue woollen hat and dark blue high necked jumper with dark green trousers and black work type boots. The man spoke with a foreign accent.
